Hard-Ons

Australia’s most successful independent band? Certainly one of them with over 250,000 records sold worldwide.

They began at Punchbowl High School. A Croat, Sri-Lankan and a Korean collectively playing pop, punk AND metal music at impossible volume.

They wrote some of the best poppy punk songs of their era. They embraced metal, thrash and stoner rock. They’ve enthused and confused us for thirty years now.

A rare moment at Meredith, with original drummer/vocalist Keish joining the band for a bunch of classics, as he has been doing on their 30th Anniversary tour. Maybe for the last time?

There are no playing times we take lightly, but one that has to be the super-right-vibe is Opening the Whole Thing Up on Friday. The Hard-Ons will no doubt see a rush of blood to the head and heart when they launch 24-Meredith into the stratosphere.
