Cloud Nothings

“Life imitates art” – some dude.

In 2009 Dylan Baldi used his parents’ basement to record music using GarageBand, then created several fake bands, each with their own Myspace featuring his original music. One of the fake bands he created was Cloud Nothings. They became Something.

This is punk rock in a way not heard before, incorporating classic rock and psych elements. Heavy psychedelia, heavy hooks. Songs that go this fast and hard rarely get this psychedelic. Baldi’s pretty good at making punk rock, excellent at making noisy pop, and pretty much unparalleled at doing both at the same time.

Three albums now, so many top songs. They just go for it. They’re from America. They’re rad. They kill it live.
